At Lasting Impressions Taxidermy, all of our European mounts are meticulously cleaned using Dermestid beetles, ensuring every trace of flesh is removed before undergoing a thorough degreasing and whitening process.

Additional Charges and Fees

All skulls must be completely free of maggots, as they pose a serious risk to our beetle colonies. Any skulls containing maggots will incur a $100 maggot removal fee. Additionally, all skulls and heads must be frozen for a minimum of 72 hours before drop-off. Heads that have not met this freezing requirement will be subject to a $35 freezing fee.
